Our Business Plan for 2015 - 2023
We are now in the process of delivering our RIIO-ED1 electricity price control accepted by Ofgem. This period will end on March 2023. We have set about implementing our business plan within a financial framework that has required us to make further efficiency savings. Our electricity distribution charges represent around 16% of the electricity bill and has broadly remained flat before inflation until 2023.
Our plans ensure that our customers benefit from further improvements in reliability and customer service, and our investment programme has so far delivered the required network capacity in our regions, which are the highest growth part of the UK. Throughout this period we have also embarked on our journey to becoming a Distribution System Operator (DSO). To find out more please visit our Smart Grid web page.
