The Leadership Academy

Our acclaimed Leadership Academy helps managers become Chartered Managers and refine their leadership skills, while high-potential aspiring leaders can gain the knowledge needed for career advancement. Since its 2021 launch, over 200 employees have joined the programmes.

The Digital Academy

Whether it's data analysis, cyber security, or software development, enhance your skills with the Digital Academy. Dive into over 16 programmes focused on expanding your digital and data-related knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

Training Centre
Technical Training Centres

We operate four specialised training centres in the south and east of England. These facilities allow employees to refine their operational and craft skills, such as working on overhead lines, cable jointing, and substation fitting.

Mentoring
Mentoring

Our mentoring platform, “Elevate”, empowers employees to choose their mentors based on specific skills and experience. Offering a variety of programmes - such as traditional, cross-generational, and allyship - Elevate provides mentoring opportunities tailored to every developmental need.

Supported Studies
Supported Studies

Each year, we commit more than £700,000 to our Supported Studies programme, which finances external qualifications for employees throughout the company to enhance their knowledge and skills, enabling high performance and career progression.

Therefore, we work closely with the Career Transition Partnership to help ex-service personnel make the transition to the commercial world. We’ve also signed the Ministry of Defences’ Corporate Covenant which cements our commitment to supporting service leavers as best we can.
