Substations control the voltage of power coming into your area and ensures it gets delivered safely to your property. We have hundreds of electricity substations around the country which we regularly maintain. However, sometimes we need your help to spot issues. If you come across any issues or concerns at one of our substations please let us know so we can fix it.

Report an issue at our substation

The first step is to report the issue by calling us. It would help our teams if you had a substation name or number which is usually found on the gate or door of a substation.

We'll visit the substation to investigate the issue and plan the next steps.

We'll fix the issue

Our teams will fix the issue and put things back to normal. This may be completed by one of our partners who we use to maintain our substations.

Working near our substation or structure?

If you are intending to carry out works near our buildings or electricity network assets such as substations, tunnels, cable bridges and underground cables, safety is our number one priority. We strongly recommend that you inform us of these works.
