The services we offer
Connect street furniture
We're here to assist you with installing electricity connections you require to complete your project. Whether you require a metered or unmetered connection, we've got you covered. In our experience, most street furniture items, excluding street lights and road signs, usually require metered connections.
We provide a variety of services to support you in your work. Below, we've outlined these services to help you plan the connection you require. Our goal is to offer you the best possible assistance to successfully complete your project.
Metered or unmetered connection
With a metered connection, your usage is measured using a standard electricity meter provided by your electricity supplier. After we install the electricity connection, you'll need to arrange a visit from your supplier to install a new electricity meter. This doesn’t have to happen on the same day, however, until your meter is installed you won't have power.
More information on the steps you need to follow when installing a new electricity supply for street furniture can be found on our 'Guidance for street furniture electrical connections'.
