Whether you're installing electric car chargers as part of connecting a housing estate or large commercial building, or building a charging hub, we're here to help.
If you require a new electricity connection or upgrade to an existing connection (energy usage of 70kVA or higher), we can help make sure that you get the most efficient, cost effective electricity connection to our network. All you need to do is complete our online form and include details of the type of charger you want to install so that our teams can review your requirements and provide a suitable solution.
If your project involves installing chargers at a hub, we highly recommend you take a look at our Pre application guide, which can help you plan your project. This guide includes helpful tools such as our Open Data Portal and Technical Design Specifications library (G81) which can help you understand the impact of your project to any existing electricity supplies or the local electricity network.

If you require a new electricity connection or an upgrade to an existing connection (energy usage of 70kVA or higher) you'll need to complete our online form and include details of the type of charger you want to connect.
We'll send you a price
Our teams will review your requirements and send you a detailed price for the work to be completed.
Payment and booking in the work
If you're happy to go ahead, we can then book in the work. We would need full payment at this stage to proceed.

We'll complete our work and so that you can then complete your connection.
To make sure you can start using electricity as soon as we install or upgrade your electricity connection, you will need to arrange for your electricity supplier to visit you on the same day. This is because they are responsible for installing your electricity meter. Once that's done your power will be ready to go.
Cost and time
If our teams are required to install a new electricity connection or make upgrades to an existing connection, the cost and time it take us to complete the work will vary from job to job. It can depend on a number of factors including obtaining permission to work on private land or working in the public highway.
We're unable to provide an exact price or time frames online as it's determined on the specific work required. Therefore, it will be provided once we review your application and in some instances we may need to visit you first to provide you with an accurate quotation.
