Moving the electricity meter
One option is to contact your electricity supplier (the company you pay your bills to) and ask to move your electricity meter. Your supplier owns and maintains the meter and the meter tails which connect from our main incoming supply. You can request them to check if it's possible to move it a short distance, as long as there's enough length in the meter tails. In some cases, they may need to assess your request in person. Please note that the process and any costs for moving your electricity meter can vary between different suppliers.
